Junior Charter
In 2001 the Golfing Union of Ireland and the Irish Ladies Golfing Union put a group together to draw up a Charter for Junior Golf. This document, which has the support of the PGA Irish Region, lists the aims of the Unions in developing all young players. It is also of assistance to clubs in the running of their junior golf section. Overall the aim is to develop junior players so that you all get a good, enjoyable introduction to golf and keep golf 'healthy' in your clubs. To read this document click here
Junior Development Plan
In order to ensure that JGI runs its activities efficiently we have made a plan of all our programmes within schools and clubs for the next three years. This plan outlines the number of schools and clubs that will be introduced to golf, the leaders that will be trained to deliver these programmes and the resources that will be published to assist schools and clubs to make golf more enjoyable for you.
