Darren Clarke Skills FINAL
The 2009 Darren Clarke Skills Challenge Final took place on Saturday 7th November at Carton House, Maynooth. A total of 233 boys and girls took part in a local Skills Challenge and 5 boys and 5 girls made it through to the final. These lucky juniors will now look forward to meeting Darren Clarke during his 'Champions Weekend' in the Spring of 2010, while Thomas Doran and Lisa McCloat can look forward to being presented with the 'Darren Clarke Cup'. PGA Level 1 Training Courses
The PGA are currently holding Level 1 training course in several Irish venues, some courses have already taken place. This 2 day course is aimed at junior convenors, volunteers and assistant professionals, and topics include chipping, pitching, putting, and basic swing techniques, along with notes on the preparation of coaching sessions. Below are the venues and dates of the upcoming courses:

Child Protection Training
Child Protection in Sport is a basic awareness training course run by the Irish Sports Council through the Local Sports Partnerships in the ROI and Sports Northern Ireland in NI. For a list of up and coming courses in your area click here.
