Darren Clarke Skills Test
Has your coaching centre got junior golfers who have recently completed Player Manual 1 or Player Manual 2?
If so, you are invited to run the Darren Clarke Skills Test . The skills test is simple to run and requires a practice green and some adult supervision. Participants (7-12 or 12-16 year olds) are tested on their chipping, pitching, bunker shots and putting. You can download and print copies of the test by clicking DC Manual 1 Skills Test or DC Manual 2 Skills Test. Each participant will get a Gold, Silver or Bronze certificate.
The top boy and girl in each club will go forward to the regional final. From each region the top boy and girl will contest the national final and these lucky finalists will attend a workshop given by Darren at the Darren Clarke Champions Weekend where they will be presented with the Cup by the star golfer.
Please return the list of participants to the JGI office, with a list of their scores so that they can receive the Darren Clarke certificate. You will be be contacted with details of the regional final for the top boy or girl in your club.
